In closing: even with the slightly jarring nature in connection to Howard's world this She-Devil with a Sword is a must for any comic book fan!! The story of Red Sonja could have really gone anywhere, and these collected comics surely do take it somewhere. Volume 2 is much more fantasy based than the first, meaning there are more talking animals and interesting creatures. I would have to say, I did enjoy Sonja's adventures and am eager to read more and find out what happens next. For the art work, it has changed for the best. It really is eye catching and beautiful.
